Cake bites are out, cake *CUPS* are in 💃🎄 This is Day 2 of our Little Debbie holiday series and I can't get over how cute these are!! 🥹 ✨ WHAT YOU NEED: ✔️ 1 Box of cake mix + listed ingredients ✔️ ½ can of canilla frosting ✔️ 2 packages almond bark (you probably won't use all of it but good to have extra!). ✔️ Red food coloring ✔️ Green sanding sugar sprinkles TO MAKE: Mix the cooled cake with the frosting until it's combined and smooth. Add about 1 teaspoon of melted almond bark to each mini cupcake liner, let harden (can speed up in the fridge), then add a 1-tablespoon sized ball of cake dough into each cup. Press down to flatten the dough, then top with more almond bark. Use a piping bag to pipe the red stripes, then immediately add the sprinkles. Below is a list of all ingredients need to make the Little Debbie tray! If you're using the Instacart button below, please note that you will need to adjust quantities (since it will only automatically add 1 per item). Please also double check all products, as different retailers may pull in random products that need to be manually switched out.

Ingredients
 

Specialty:
  • ¾ cup vanilla frosting , (i.e. one can is enough)
  • 15 ounce box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 16 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 14 ounces marshmallow creme, (i.e. two 7-ounce cans is enough)
  • 1 ⅓ cups Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder, (i.e. one container is enough)
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 box Waffle cones
  • 18 ounces Oreo cookies, (i.e. one family-size package)
  • 4 cups crispy rice cereal, (i.e. one 12-ounce box is enough)
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips, (i.e. one 12-ounce bag is enough)
  • 40 ounces white melting wafers or almond bark
  • 32 ounces dark melting wafers or almond bark
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 30 Kraft caramels, (i.e. one bag is enough)
Baking Staples:
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • ⅛ teaspoon peppermint extract, optional for Oreo balls
  • 4 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Refrigerated:
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 pound unsalted butter
  • 1 dozen large eggs, you won't need them all but amount varies based on cake mix you get
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, or ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk for Oreo balls, if you need them to sit at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons milk, can use cream in the oatmeal creme pie dough if you don't want to buy extra milk

I made all 6 Little Debbie recipes for the December baking challenge and they did not disappoint! The treats made for festive Christmas boxes for my friends and family. Everyone raved over them!
