Air Fried Oreos

Bring the magic of state fair treats straight to your kitchen! These Air Fried Oreos are so soft and fluffy, made with a thicker version of my go-to pancake batter and air-fried to perfection!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder note: this is 1 tablespoon (not teaspoon!) and baking powder (not baking soda!)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (i.e. ½ stick) melted
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 12 Oreos you can use regular Oreos, double stuffed Oreos, golden Oreos, etc.

Instructions

  • Mix dry ingredients: all-purpose flour ( cups), granulated sugar (¼ cup), baking powder (1 tablespoon), and salt (1 teaspoon)
  • Then add: egg (1 large), vanilla extract (1 teaspoon), unsalted butter (¼ cup melted), milk (½ cup), and water (2 tablespoons)
  • Dip each Oreo (12 Oreos) into the batter and place on a parchment-lined air fryer basket.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 6-8 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
  • Top with powdered sugar and enjoy!
