Turn my popular one bowl chocolate chip cookies into DIY cookie mixes! Simply prep ahead, add the wet ingredients (no mixer needed!), and have warm cookies in under 20 minutes. Each bag makes about 1 dozen cookies.
½cuplight or dark brown sugar(I've been on a dark kick lately!)
¼cupgranulated sugar
¼teaspoonbaking soda
¼teaspoonbaking powder
¼teaspoonsalt
1 ¼cupsall-purpose flour(not packed, just scooped and leveled with a knife)
1cupchocolate chips, m&m's, or mix-insI like to chop half of the chocolate chips so that the cookies spread more & have a more speckled look, but it's totally optional!
Wet Ingredients (write on bag)
½cupmelted butter (i.e. 1 stick)
1large egg
1teaspoonvanilla extract
Instructions
Add dry ingredients to the bag in this order: light brown sugar(½ cup),granulated sugar(¼ cup), baking soda(¼ teaspoon), baking powder (¼ teaspoon), and salt(¼ teaspoon),all-purpose flour (1¼ cups), chocolate chips(½ whole and ½ cup chopped) or other mix-ins.
On the bag, write the following (or print off my free tags!):"Add: 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and ½ cup (1 stick) melted butter. Roll into 2-tablespoon balls, gently flatten, and bake at 350°F 8-10 minutes."
Store in pantry for 1-2 months. Each bag makes about 1 dozen cookies.
