Total Time 5 minutes
Servings 2 small or 1 large serving

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla icecream I used Kroger brand "Artisan Vanilla Bean"
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice about 2 large lemons
  • 2-3 teaspoons powdered sugar sweeten to taste (2-3 teaspoons)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • yellow food coloring optional

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend for about 30 seconds until smooth.
This is a thicker milkshake and depending on the brand of ice cream, so you may need to stir halfway through. If needed, you can add a splash of milk or water to help it blend.
  • Pour into a glass and bask in the glory of making it homemade!
  • Optional: Add a drop of yellow food coloring for a signature lemonade color.
