The Race is On (Running Printable Alert)

Want to know what I realized this weekend? I leave the country in 50 days. 50 days, people. FIFTY DAYS. Good golly, that’s soon. I don’t know about you, but fifty days does not sound like enough time for me to get everything done that I need to get done before I go. The countdown has begun and the race has officially begun.

No pun intended. Well, actually, it was intended.

Because one of my goals before I go is to run some kind of race. I talked about doing a half-marathon a while back, and although that is something I am STILL planning to do, I’m not sure it’s going to happen before the trip. Which I’m okay with. I’m still planning to do a smaller race before I go (maybe more like 10k or something) but I’m not finding any half’s around my area for August. (If this state would get its act together, I wouldn’t have this problem.)

I’ve been sooooo busy lately, that I’ve only been running a few times a week. Which I suppose is an accomplishment, since I started this running thing being a total NON-runner. But still, I need to get back on track. Again, no pun intended.

So as a way to get back on track before I leave, I am doing a 40-day challenge. Which is why I designed the printable below. I am planning to use it as a way to track my running, but it can really be used for anything! So feel free to print it off and use it for any goal you might have.

It’s crack-down time, people! Feel free to email me within the next 40 days to see if I’m staying on track. If you don’t hear back, it’s probably because I passed out from running. Which is completely possible.

Oh, and let me know what 40-day challenge you would take on! It can be anything!

Girl you rock! I love this and I’m printing this cutie off right now so I can participate! I too have been back to running after a looong (like 2 years) hiatus and it has been WORK! Hard work! So it’s inspiring to read things like this and know that I’m not alone in my personal efforts and challenges. Keep up the awesome work and thanks for sharing!

So I am supposed to run a 5K this next weekend and I hate running. I am going to have to print this chart off for just the rest of the week so that I can have an excuse to hang something pretty on the way.
