One thing we always had on hand growing up were boxes of instant pudding. Not only is it a quick and easy dessert, but I like to tell myself it’s a relatively healthy one since it uses mostly milk. Plus, it’s probably the only time I willingly ate a bowl of what was basically milk. Milk + Me = not friends.

Anyways, have you ever looked into your FULL pantry and had nothing to make for dinner? This happens to me ALL the time. I have a bunch of staple foods, but nothing to do with them. Pudding is one of them. I buy boxes and they usually sit in my pantry until eternity. But did you know that you can add vanilla instant pudding to cookies to make them softer? No? Well, now you do.

We made these cookies all the time growing up and it is still one of my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipes. They turn out so soft, every time. If you are in need of a go-to chocolate chip recipe, then this is one you must try out!

Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies

The instant pudding makes these cookies super soft and delicious.

Serve these up with a glass of milk and you’re good to go! In fact, there are very FEW cookies I will eat with milk…but these are one of them. They just might be the only time I sneak milk into my everyday diet. Who ever said Oreo’s were milk’s ONLY favorite cookie anyway?
