There is no greater love than…PIZZA! Print off the pieces to this printable Valentine’s Day Banner to express your love for this magical, can’t-live-without food this year! Because seriously, can anyone actually bring more happiness to your life than pizza?! I tend to think not.
The snow is coming down hard today which means I’m finally setting some time away to edit all the Valentine’s Day projects I shot last weekend! I made this banner during a 3am craft marathon a few weekends ago and have been itching to share it ever since. It was inspired by one of my favorite Utah pizza lunch spots (where the love runs real deep), so I figured I’d make our favorite employees there a little Valentine’s Day gift to decorate their new restaurant. We haven’t delivered it yet, but a few more weeks and pink heart shaped pepperonis are about to grace that magical pizza joint.
So how can you make your own pizza Valentine’s Day banner? Print off as many sheets of the printable below, use an exacto knife to carefully cut out each of the slices and toppings and then use pop dots to attach the hearts and strawberries to each slice. The pop dots give it a fun layer of dimension, but you can also just tape or glue them down. Once finished assembling, punch hole(s) into the top of each one and string the twine through to create the banner. If you want the slices to lay flat against the wall, be sure to punch two holes in the top of each slice and string the twine through the back of one hole and into the front of the other hole.
* To make this project kid-friendly, have an adult cut out all the hearts and strawberries and let the kids “top” the pizzas!
So hey, can we all agree that pizza is actually the source of all love in the world? Yes? Good. Now that that’s out of the way, go order some delivery and get to crafting!
