Living without a microwave has proven to not be as bad as I thought. There are times I wish I could quickly zap some leftovers or melt some butter for my morning toast, but overall I think I have adjusted pretty well.
Except for one little thing…
Popcorn.
Now, you’re probably thinking…”Just go buy some kernels, thrown them in a pan, and pop away.”
Which is exactly what I thought I’d be able to do. Until I scoured multiple Italian groceries stores and realized I could not find them. Probably due to my lack of Italian language skills, but still…sad realization.
So my last resort was to find microwave bags of popcorn, slice them open, and throw them into a pan. Although this is desperation at its finest, I’m glad to report that it was mighty good.
So in celebration of my successes (or lack thereof), I designed a free printable popcorn box template. You can use the box for a movie night or just for a fun presentation. Whatever ideas pop into your head. Pun intended.

For sturdier boxes, print on cardstock paper.

I like melting butter and hot sauce together, pouring that over the popcorn and sprinkling garlic salt and cayenne on top! mmmm :)
