Back when I was a wee little tike, donuts were always a special, and rare treat. In the little town I’m from, there isn’t a Dunkin’ Donuts or Krispy Kreme, so the only route to donuts is the grocery store bakery, or hitting the jackpot of “Donut Sunday” at church. It’s kind of like one of those “walking to school up hills both ways” stories, but just a little different. It’s the donut version of that. A slightly exaggerated version, but a version nonetheless.

I probably only treat myself to donuts a few times a year, but when I do, it’s one of those things that holds an array of feelings. If I had to compare donuts to anything, I’d compare them to a pendulum of emotions. The train of thoughts usually go something like this: “Omg, that donut looks so good > Omg, this donut is the best thing I’ve ever tasted > Omg, why did I eat that donut > Omg, sugar high up in here > I don’t regret eating that > Gosh Donut, yes I do > It only weighs like .1 lbs, so it can’t be THAT bad > Ahh, but the frosting. And the sprinkles > Yes, I regret it > Okay no, I really don’t because it tasted so dang good.”

Okay, so maybe it’s getting a little late and my brain is going crazy, but please tell I’m not the only one that experiences the pendulum donut effect.

Enough with that, back to the printables. For a fun presentation, you can download these donut printables, attach them to a paper straw, and stick them in a donut! Whether you’re throwing a donut party or just enjoying a morning sweet treat, these donut printables can aid in adding a little more color to your day!
