Love cakeballs? Love Halloween? Well then you’re in the right place! Turn your cake balls in spooky treats by making them look like eyeballs! (Okay, that sounded like some kind of infomercial pitch…sorry bout that, folks!) With the help of my sister & her friend we made lots of chocolate cake balls and then frosted/painted them to look like eyeballs. After dipping them in almond bark and letting them harden, I just dipped a toothpick into red food coloring to make the veins. The girls piped on some frosting to the centers and then topped them with a round sprinkle for the pupil. They aren’t the most perfect cake-ball-frosting-job I’ve ever done, but whatevs. They didn’t stay on the plate very long, if you know what I mean. I guess you could say my family likes eating eyeballs.
