Now that September is here, I have convinced myself that it is now acceptable to start posting Halloween projects. And while I may be jumping the gun a few weeks early, we’re just going to roll with it because Halloween is one of my favorite holidays in all the land. I don’t even do much for Halloween in the realm of dressing up or decorating my apartment, but the amount of joy I get from making creepy treats & recipes is rather ridiculous. But then again, it’s about the only time of year I can stick eyeballs on everything without being questioned so what’s not to love? These DIYÂ halloween treat bags are just the beginning of the season of eyeball projects, so take this as your warning of spooky things to come.
The fun thing about these Halloween treat bags is that you can use any type of bag you would like. I cut these bags out of colored construction paper using one of my die cutters, but you can also find lots of fun bakery treat bags online. Stick on a plastic or candy eyeball and design your own faces! The paper clips can serve as hair & eyebrows so have fun creating your own expressions! Scared, happy, and spooked are just a few of the many faces you can achieve with simple eyeballs and paper clips.
Materials for Halloween Treat Bags:
Treat Bags // Candy Eyeballs // Black Marker
Paper Clips // Candy to Fill // String (Optional)
So be honest, too soon for Halloween projects?! I hope the answer is no because there are many more to come and I’m not sure I can hold off posting them much longer.
