A while back, I was on a flavored water kick. Mainly due to a few months of giving up pop (soda, coke, whatever you call it). Plain water just didn’t seem to cure my sweet tooth (teeth). So needless to say, I always had boxes upon boxes of Crystal Light or Propel packets lurking in my cupboard. I’d slip one into my morning water bottle and speed off to work.

So then one day, an idea hit me while making raspberry smoothies. I had just gotten done mixing up a smoothie when I realized that the flavor was not as sweet as I wanted. So my idea was to sweeten the smoothie with a few dashes of  my favorite raspberry Propel drink mix pack. I had tried adding sugar to smoothies before, but I never liked the grittiness texture it left.

I wasn’t sure if adding the drink mix was going to taste okay, but I figured I couldn’t ruin something I had already ruined in the first place. Right? Well, needless to say…It was a great success. Nom-skis.

And that my friends, is how my smoothie trick was born.

I’m obsessed with graham crackers, so of course, I had to have a few with this scrumptious drink.
