Need a quick and easy last minute treat idea to bring to you 4th of July festivities? Thought so. I was going to wait until Monday to post this, but figured some of you might need it for this weekend. So, here it is! I’m not going to write much today, just let the pictures do the talking. Because A.) I have more stuff to go bake and B.) I need to pack for vacay.
I have included the printable below, so all you have to do print, cut out, tape to a toothpick, and BAM. Done.
I’m not going to lie on this one. This is boxed cake mix and canned frosting. But that’s not the point of this post. The focus is on the toppers. I’m not looking to impress anyone with this recipe, that’s for sure. Besides, I doubt the children that will devour these really care about the taste :)
I have included three different topper designs on the printable, so feel free to mix them up!
Add some fun sprinkles and cupcake liners to jazz up the boxed cake mix and frosting! And if you’d like a homemade cupcake recipe, I HIGHLY recommend this one. By far, the best white cupcake mix recipe I’ve ever tried.
I’ll leave you with this beaut-of-a-picture. Nothing like having to change the photo to black and white because the model/sister decides to wear a lime green shirt and crazy worn off nail polish :) But I actually like how it looks, so I guess it was meant to be.
